EU registration certificate appointment in Barcelona: when slots open and how to get alerted

Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland who stay in Spain for more than three months must register and obtain the certificado de registro de ciudadano de la Unión, the green paper that carries your NIE. In ICPPlus the procedure is Policía - Certificado de registro de ciudadano de la U.E.. You bring your passport or ID card, the padrón certificate, proof of means or employment, health cover and the paid fee (modelo 790-012).

In the province of Barcelona ICPPlus offers this procedure at ten police stations: Mallorca 213 in the city of Barcelona and the stations of Cornellà de Llobregat, Granollers, Igualada, Manresa, Mataró, Montcada i Reixac, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Vic and Vilanova i la Geltrú. Any of them is valid for a resident of the province; the list below is what our monitor last saw in the official dropdown. Slots open in small batches and the page shows «no hay citas disponibles» most of the time.
