Fingerprint appointment in Valencia (TIE): when slots open and how to get alerted

The toma de huellas (fingerprinting) appointment is where the National Police takes your fingerprints and photo to issue, renew or replace your TIE. In the province of Valencia it is handled by the National Police stations that ICPPlus lists for the procedure Policía - Toma de huellas (expedición de tarjeta); any station in the province is valid for a resident of the province, and the card is later collected at the station that took the fingerprints.

The appointment is free and is booked on ICPPlus, the Ministry of the Interior's appointment site, with your NIE or passport, your name and, for renewals, your file number. The agenda opens at irregular times and the page shows «En este momento no hay citas disponibles» most of the day.
