HayCita watches the fingerprinting (TIE) agenda of the Alicante immigration office: 16 agenda openings detected in the last 90 days, the latest on 2026-10-20 at 14:10 (Madrid time). We alert you; you book the appointment yourself on the official site. HayCita's own observation, last check 2026-10-21. Not Ministry data.
Before you buy: since August 2026 the Alicante office assigns the fingerprinting appointment directly when it grants the residence permit (source: The Local, 13 August 2026). If your resolution is recent, you probably do not need to look for a slot: check the letter or email with your resolution. If you need fingerprints for a renewal or a duplicate, the agenda still applies and we do watch it. For the other procedures in Alicante see TIE collection and EU registration certificate (in Spanish).
The toma de huellas (fingerprinting) appointment is where the National Police takes your fingerprints and photo to issue, renew or replace your TIE. In the province of Alicante it is handled by the National Police stations that ICPPlus lists for Policía - Toma de huellas (expedición de tarjeta). The appointment is free and is booked with your NIE or passport, your name and, for renewals, your file number.
Alicante is one of the four provinces (with Cantabria, Castellón and Tarragona) where the office started assigning the first fingerprinting appointment itself in August 2026, so the public agenda now matters mostly for renewals, duplicates and people whose resolution predates the change. Our figures above reflect that: few openings and a last check that may be weeks old, because we only watch while a client has an active alert.
If you do need a slot, HayCita checks the public availability page at a human pace and alerts you by email and Telegram (SMS in VIP) when it changes, with the direct link and a screenshot. You book it yourself, for free, on the official site.
We watch a province and procedure while at least one client has an active alert for it, so the table above shows the date of our last check. We cannot promise you an appointment: the slots belong to the Ministry and open when they open. What we can show is what we observed and the share of our clients who received at least one alert. If we send you no alert within 14 days, you get a 100% automatic refund.

An opening is a window during which slots were visible, not a single slot: repeated sightings within the same window count as one.
HayCita only watches and alerts. We check the public availability page of the official appointment system (ICPPlus) at a human pace, at most once every 300 seconds per office, and tell you when a slot appears. You book it yourself, with your own details, free of charge, on the official site. We never book on your behalf, never hoard slots, never resell appointments and never use your credentials. Those are the practices the Spanish Ministry of the Interior prosecutes, and none of them is ours. The full legal explanation, quoting the Ministry's own press releases, is at haycita.es/en/legality.
